We acknowledge the Awabakal and Worimi people who have cared for the land and waterway where we gather. We recognise sovereignty, a spiritual notion in law and custom, where aboriginal people have shared this relationship with the land for over 60,000 years! How could these links disappear in a mere 200 years? Can we listen, empowering people towards justice and reconciliation towards a fuller expression of what this great southland could be? We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging!
