While our church was established in a very different time in 1869 at the beginning of suburban Hamilton and then later rebuilt in 1928 to hold 600 people, it still retains the wonderful human spirit of all those souls who worshipped here.
Today that spirit still exists, that of serving the Hamilton community now and far into the future.
Our beautiful 1928 built church has even survived an earthquake over its 90 or so years and is heading for a glorious 100 year anniversary in 2028.
Please take the time to explore both the church building and the many features of the church, including the many stunning stained glass windows, all donated by people with huge hearts.
For the history buffs, there is a wonderful blog online by local historian Ruth Cotton who tells the story of the suburb of Hamilton and the church’s 150 years or so.
